Our Story
Built on 25 years of horticultural expertise, Silver Leaf Nursery and Garden Center is a locally established, family-owned business founded by Milton and Dil on Mother’s Day, 2017. We combine deep industry knowledge with artistic vision to deliver exceptional products and services, driving our rapid growth and high customer satisfaction.
Our core expertise spans greenhouse and nursery management, landscape ecology, artistic landscape design and construction, agroforestry, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM). We locally grow all of our vibrant annuals and a wide variety of perennials and trees in our own greenhouses to ensure seasonal longevity and peak quality.
At Silver Leaf, we pride ourselves on going above and beyond. We are educators at heart, helping customers solve complex challenges from privacy screening and soil erosion to wet conditions and pest control. Backed by on-site design consultations and high-quality stock, we stand firmly behind our work to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Our Values
At Silver Leaf Nurseries, our core values are rooted in a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility across the Niagara Region. We believe that nurseries play a vital role in building climate resilience, which is why we actively champion urban canopy expansion and create pollinator-friendly gardens to combat the urban heat island effect and restore fragmented habitats. By prioritizing water conservation in our daily operations and making a conscious effort to reduce microplastics in our supply chains, we ensure that our business leaves a positive, lasting imprint on the local landscape.
We firmly advocate for the importance of using native species to build ecosystem resilience against severe weather and climate shifts. Native plants naturally adapt to the local soil, require fewer chemical interventions, and provide critical food sources for native wildlife. To keep our plants healthy without harming these beneficial insects, we utilize integrated biological pest management rather than harsh chemicals. We believe that true sustainability requires a multi-generational approach, which is why we are dedicated to educating youth about native species, inspiring the next generation of Niagara gardeners to protect and nurture our shared environment.
